  I would really recommend this visit to any GAA enthusiast. It was humbling to visit the actual home that one of the founders of the GAA who met in Hayes' Hotel in Thurles in 1884 grew up in and went.....  more »

  Stopped here on a rainy day and it was a perfect stop!! Very affordable and very interesting!! Very informative tour and really enjoyed it!! Well done to all with the excellent Covid 19 procedures...  more »

  On a rainy, windy day in summer 2019 we were ready for some hot coffee and shelter. Found the Cusack Center more by accident then by itinerary. But boy did we get a treat. Agnes made a pot of coffee, offered some sweets and even pulled out an electric oven so we could warm up and the coats would dry. Before we could even read the well done panels she explained us who Michael Cusack was and his genuine impact on irish selfesteem and cultural individualism connected with educational goals and political independancy. We were so glad to finally understand the famen, the rebellion and irish pride. Anges and Martin, thank you very much to comfort and feed us in so many ways. We gladly recommend everybody to come and visit you.
