Surf the waves of Green Bowl Beach, a secluded tropical paradise characterized by algae-covered green rocks, visible at low tide. You'll have to descend more than 300 stone steps to reach this isolated spot, but once there you'll be rewarded with plenty of peace and quiet. Those not up for surfing can lounge on the sand, snorkel, and enjoy the view of the steep cliffs surrounding the ocean. Explore the white sand coast lined with caves, where you can spot bats in their daily slumber. Beautiful beach with strong waves and good views. Some things to remember don’t bring a lot of stuff with you because there’s literally 334 stairs for your access to the beach, also bring a lots of water with you because you’ll probably feel tired after going up and down the stairs. But worth to visit!

Truly a mesmerising sight. This place is very difficult to get to, because of the hundreds of steep, sometimes slippery, stairs you must use to get there (also - keep in mind the journey back up!) But my oh my, is it unreal. The sand is white, clean, and full of corals and shells. There is seaweed and other aquatic vegetation in the water that only adds to the surreality of this place. At some points you can even see small fish swimming around (even at very shallow areas of the water). There are beautiful, unique flat rocks with green vegetation covering them - a sight which I believe is only visible at low tides - amid the water, and it's very unreal. There are also three caves behind, which have quite a bit of life around (crabs mostly - lots of them), so I wouldn't recommend trying to go very deep into one of them! But this place is a beauty. The waves behind can get very big, but reaching the shores they become quite calm. We did spot a few surfers there too, so if you're looking for a surf around an uncluttered beach, this place seems totally worth it. It truly is a hidden paradise, and even that some would consider an understatement. Also, if you are planning to take the journey down the hundreds of steps - keep in mind they are steep, winding, and sometimes can get slippery. Very tiring especially when you're making the journey back to the top. Only come here if you know your legs can take it. We did see a few who found the journey back to the top very arduous. Overall, this place is almost too beautiful to be real. Definitely worth a visit if you can manage the steps. If you believe it might be a bit of a trip, fear not, Bali has other lovely beaches that do not require 300-500 steps worth of climbing. Good luck, and be safe!
