Admire Jaipur’s majestic “floating palace,” Jal Mahal, situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The red sandstone palace supposedly dates back to the 18th century, but has been renovated and restored numerous times. On a lakeside stroll, you’ll find that the palace appears to be floating on the water's surface, but in reality only the top floor of the imposing building is visible, while the rest are submerged underwater. While entry into the palace is prohibited, you can take a boat ride on the lake to inspect it closely, or enjoy the view from the land.     This fort is magnificent and a must visit in Jaipur. Elephant ride is an added attraction, however car also goes up to the fort.  more »

    This site is closed for visitors and so you cannot go inside. It is only a photo stop but you will not get very good pictures.  more »

    As name says it is obviously a Palace built in center of water. This is a place which let you falling love with Jaipur in a second. Its beautifully built in center of lake, that makes its stunning. Been there many time but always feels like first time i am vising and love the surrounding view, you will find many pigeons and they enhance the beauty of this place. c
