    Buses to omkareshwar start from navalakha Bus stand, Indore. The buses take about 2.5-3 hours from Indore which includes about 15-20 minutes tea break. From the place where buses stop at omkareshwar.....  more »

    One of the sacred Jyotirlings . Located near banks of holy Narmada river. Has adjacent located Hydro Dam and catchment lake upstream. Place could have been better maintained. Nothing stops devotee rush to the holy pilgrimage. Temple is very old and rebuilt partially. Carvings are exquisite.

    Everything here is so transcendent and divine. This is a very old and famous place of worship. One of 12Jyotirling of Shiva, The temple stands high on the bank of River Narmada. There are a lot of new development which has made life of the devotees much simpler like having good eating options. Overall very nice feeling. Very peaceful atmosphere. And relaxing. 😊.
