Perched atop a mountain ridge, Amber Palace impresses visitors with its imposing Hindu architecture of towering ramparts constructed from distinctive red sandstone. Built in 1592, the complex occupies a spot on the World Heritage List, along with several other hill forts in the region. Enter through the Sun Gate, a grand entryway to the fortress' main courtyard. Explore the many different sections within the walls, which include a temple and several halls with intricate ceiling decorations and expansive gardens. Don't miss the Sheesh Mahal section, which boasts a number of ornate carvings and artwork made from glass. From the edge of the ramparts, you can enjoy a sweeping view over the surround valley, lake, and mountains. • Just WOW! The palace is magical with its stunning architecture. You can see many classy paintings and century-old majestic mirrors. There are some silent and nice spots to sit and have a coffee if you wish. Thanks to the authorities for maintaining this place the way it deserves. There is sufficient parking space outside if you are coming in your vehicle.
  • Beautiful. Amazing. Loved this palace. It's so well built ,you get the feel of royal lifestyle. These were rich kings who lived a lavish life. Recommend you to hire a guide. Sadly there is no mention of architects n people who laboured to built this beautiful palace. (Well it's like that with all the monuments in India)
