At Reykjavik Riding Center, saddle up for a ride through lava fields near volcanoes and across hillsides. The ride will take you along the riverbank all the way to the old sheep corral. The center offers six horseback tours in small groups for both beginners and advanced riders. At the end of the tour, you'll have time to relax in the hot tubs and steam baths. After the ride, try the lobster soup with Icelandic langoustine and freshly baked bread at the center. Amenities include a cafe, a souvenir shop, a riding gear shop, and a horse-buggy rental.
