  It is a 30-minute drive from the center of Budapest by car on the M2 motorway. Admission fee is HUF 1,400 per adult. Parking places were limited. The botanical garden was nice and quiet. It worth...  more »

  It is huge size very quiet arboretum close to Budapest (40 kms). It is a lovely place, some parts of very romantic. We enjoyed our stay in here very much!  more »

  Very close to Budapest by car. Parking is for free outside. If you like nature, science and would like peace, you can spend 4 hours easily or more here. There is no restaurant close, so if you aim for those 4 hours, perhaps is best if you take food with you. There are a couple of ingenious exhibitions, there are also 2 or 3 greenhouses, all of them interesting and magical. Very much worth a visit.

  Great Sunday afternoon spent in the botanical garden.... walked among the wonderful flowers and majestic trees. Careful, as the greenhouses close earlier than the garden.
