    It is only a maybe 3 m stone wall and didn't find it so special. May be if I knew the history behind it wouldn't be so pointless.  more »

    Hidden in the backstreets, the remains of the wall have recently been repaired and renovated. It's only a small stretch of Byzantine history, but worth a 10 minute visit  more »

    Horrible. Hardly anything left. If it were only the ruins, but the place is used as a garbage disposal field. Really unsightly and wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this. There is a great park in Drama. Better visit that.

    The Byzantine walls are very old. They are located in the old part of town. Hard to find. They do not represent a whole fortress.
