A true haven for Ancient Greek art aficionados, Gallery Demeter offers high-quality replicas of antiques, from busts of Greek gods and Corinthian armor to Minoan amphorae. The owner, Savvas Zoidis, named his store in honor of his wife, whose embroidered scarves and traditional dresses you see as soon as you enter. All the products in the store--bronze figurines, marble statues, ceramic hand-painted vases, and Cycladic masks--are handmade exclusively by Greek artists. This is a fantastic shop to find bronze replicas at a fair price. The owner is knowledgeable, honest and not pushy at all. He takes care to wrap your purchases for travel. A great place to find a souvenir, big or small, from your time in Greece.
