Deutsches Museum, the world's largest museum of science and technology, welcomes about 1.5 million visitors each year. You can explore nearly 28,000 objects in 50 science and technology fields. Founded in 1903 on the initiative of engineer Oskar von Miller, the museum's main site is on Museum Island in the Isar river. (Two other spots in the city host additional exhibit spaces.) Explore the museum's interactive exhibits dedicated to natural sciences, telecommunications, tunnel construction, technical toys, astronautics, bridge building, marine navigation, aerospace, and much more.     A great and huge museum to learn about different topics. Just in some parts English translation was not available and the design of the museum is a bit odd (We had to go back on our steps to get into the next floor). But it is a very nice place even to go with kids.

    A very expansive science and technology museum... Definitely worth the visit. It was an interesting counterpoint to the London Science museum with a lot less crossover than you'd think. English support was mostly good with only a handful of exhibits not having English labels.
