Allianz Arena, Munich

4.5
Arena / Stadium · Tourist Spot
Experience the match-day atmosphere at Allianz Arena, a soccer stadium widely known for its facade of inflated plastic panels. The stadium, which holds nearly 70,000 spectators, was the first venue of its kind in the world to feature a full color-changing exterior. The country's third-largest arena, it's home to two professional clubs, FC Bayern Munchen and TSV 1860 Munchen. Check online for available arena tours, which give you a rare behind-the-scenes look at the stadium's locker rooms, players' tunnel, and the coaches' dugout. This modern venue, completed in 2005, features several fan shops and restaurants. Parking is available at Europe's largest parking structure, which has four four-story garages with nearly 10,000 parking places. • Visited here on a stadium tour and also went to the museum. Fabulous stadium and also went there shortly after Bayern Munich won the Champions League Final. Was in Munich when they won it.  more »

  • Definitely one of the most iconic stadiums in the world. You can really appreciate the architecture when you get up close to observe the intricacies of each translucent panel and the perfect curvature of them melded into a single structure. Makes for a nice cycling trip from the city (will take you around an hour)
  • One of the most visited attration in Munich. Try to visit during evening so that you can have a quick tour around the fan club and by around 6:30 PM you can enjoy the lighting's as well. Recommended ✌️✌️
