    Tremendous view overlooking the Elbe. Ocean carriers and small ships you see them all. Again If for some reason you have time to spare. .....  more »

    This is a great place to sit on an open deck and watch ships head in and out of Hamburg. They also have someone announce and describe the passing ships over a PA system. Definitely worth a visit!  more »

    Honestly, I was expecting Cuxhaven to be just a normal town, it however turned up much better. Right on the bay, the lighthouse and the North Sea gave a picturesque view not found in a lot of coastal cities in Germany. A ferry ride is worthwhile, pretty inexpensive (one can even bargain the price) and of good hour plus. A good place to visit if you are around.
