Le Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau dedicates 60 hectares (148 acres) to the wild fauna and flora of the region. This park began as a zoo in 1949, and has since become an ornithological park. You'll see flamingoes, herons, storks, egrets, teals, raptors, passerines, and other small waders.     The park is nice and all, lots of flamingos, but beware. Our car got broken into on the 8th of September 2020 at the official parking lot of the park. The thieves broke the smaller back door window...  more »

    Nice walk in the park. Many birds. Bring water, the walk is long. Beautiful area... many flamingos. Can be recommended.  more »

    An easy walking estuary with flamingos and other wildlife. There are several paths and routes, so you can make it very short or much longer. We spent almost two hours because we stopped and watched the birds and took a lot of photos. Relax and enjoy your time. The paths and boardwalk further away from the entrance are quieter and have excellent views of wildlife.
