The fine sandy beach at Camping d'Arone is crescent shaped and surrounded by pink granite rocks and boulders against a mountainous backdrop. A monument inland from the beach serves as a reminder of the Casablanca submarine that delivered the first firearms and provisions to the resistance in February 1943, which facilitated the birth of the underground movement during World War II. Very nice camp with access to beautiful beach. Trail Coppa Rosa near the camp was amazing with excellent views.

Visited in June so nice and quiet. Lovely remote campsite about 500m from one of the best beaches in Corsicia. Lovely white sand beach in an unspoilt bay, with 2 beach bars and a restaurant. Services on site good and clean. Really nice location.
