The bird sanctuary and nature reserve of the Seven Islands, Reserve Naturelle des Sept Iles, is the only nesting spot in France for the gannet and in the world for many types of puffin. You can also see other breeds, such as gulls, shags, common murres, fulmar boreals, common terns, oystercatchers, and kittiwakes. The on-site museum immerses you in the natural habitat of birds and marine life as well as different bird songs. The station house is also not far from the shore with a welcome center providing interactive environmental education.     It’s a well worth 2 hour trip. You see a lot, learn a lot. Only problem is if you don’t understand French since all comments are in French. You get to see the 7 islands and a part of the coastline....  more »

    an exciting boat ride from Perros Guirec to see the nature reserve - wear good windproofs and waterproofs if you want to stay on the top deck! The gannets flying around you are fantastic.  more »
