In the heart of the Left Bank, Luxembourg Gardens is arguably the loveliest park in Paris, with lush lawns radiating out from a pond centerpiece. Inspired by the Boboli Gardens of Florence, these gardens were created in 1612 by Queen Marie de Medici. Whether you're by yourself or with a whole group, this park is a relaxing reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can watch locals play the legendary French game of boules or simply stroll past over 100 distinct statues. Luxembourg Gardens is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.

A perfect getaway at the heart of Paris. The gardens are beautifully preserved. A place where you can take a walk, ride your back, have a picnic or just grab a coffee and relax on a bench to admire the stunning flowers and trees. If you have time, you can also enter the Palace, but in my opinion the gardens are much better. A great place for families and especially young kids as there is plenty of space to run and play. The entrance ton the gardens is of course for free, so just get your friends, family and go there to enjoy the nature.

Awesome historic park in the heart of Paris! My wife and I had a lovely afternoon stroll on the way back to our hotel. A lot of nice nooks and crannies to have a lovely picnic or a nap. There is plenty for children to do as there are playgrounds and even pony rides. And you can imagine my surprise when I found the original Statue of Liberty! 😃👍
