  This was one of the highlights of our visit to Corsica. The entrance cost is very reasonable, 4 euros for adults and free for kids, including booklets (to return when leaving) that explain about the site. The site is a 3km walking loop through a beautiful forest providing plenty of shade from the hot Corsican sun. I've seen other reviews that mention hiking boots are required, that's a bit exaggerated, but don't go in flip flops as there are loose stones and some slippery rocks. Since you are there, it's also worth to visit the museum in nearby Livia.

  This is a magical place! Such a wonderful area to explore. It really exceeded my expectations. It's a bit out of the way, but if you have the time I'd recommend a visit. A walk around the site will take you about 2 hours. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Probably great to visit with kids too.
