Martell Cognac's Visitors Center is sometimes called “the oldest of the great cognac houses”. It has been a brand for the elites since the beginning of the eighteenth century. They pride themselves in their cocktail making and their excellence of product. Located in the Charente province of Cognac, in France, this Cognac house is world famous and was founded by Jean Martell in 1715. After a series of different owners in the past decade or so, it is now owned by Altia. Martell Cognac's Visitors Center was one of the official sponsors for the Grand National at Aintree, one of the most famous horse races in the world until 2004.
