Chateau de Billy is a ruined 13th to 14th century medieval castle that is listed as a historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture. The main fortification has an ovoid (egg-shaped) layout with a hexagonal watchtower overlooking the streets that curve around the walls of the castle. The southern wall has a walkway with a splendid panoramic view of the Allier valley.
