One of the best on the topic, Musee Memorial de la Bataille de Normandie has a good balance of explanations of the infamous D-Day battle and interesting artifacts both small and large. Outside the museum are four armored vehicles: a Sherman tank, a Crocodile tank trailer, and Marder and M-10 Hellcat tank destroyers. Inside are a self-propelled 105 mm howitzer, a Quad-50 caliber anti-aircraft "meat chopper," a radio truck, a bulldozer, and several other large items.     Cool museum with good displays and friendly staff. Spend 45 minutes here. My kids also enjoyed looking at the tanks and guns.  more »

    An excellent museum which explains the battle of Normandy in great detail. Very interesting and a must if on a battlefield tour of the area. Loved it and would highly recommend a visit. You can also buy tickets for the Tapestry at the front counter here.

    Museum dedicated to the brave men who fought in Normandy during the second world war. Here the visitor will have the opportunity to learn about various armaments and equipment that the soldiers used at the time. My respect and admiration to everyone who fought in this region. Come and see!
