The DR is home to some of the world´s most spectacular beaches, virgin tropical rainforests, vast dry desert regions, the tallest mountain range in the Caribbean, and is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world.

    Great way to see some of the country and ecosystem! Very personable and knowledgeable host who cares very much for the place and what they are doing. We saw 20 endemic birds in just a few hours! We wish we had the time to join a few more of their tours, and will make a point to do so in the future when in the country.

    What was to just be a bird tour, turned into a tour of the rural people and places of this amazing country and a tour of the wildlife and ecology of this very beautiful and distinct ecosystem. Manny was certainly knowledgeable about birds and nature but also passionate about the wild life and people of the D.R. I not only would recommend Explora Ecotours but I fully intend to go back to take advantage of another of their incredible tours. Five out of five stars without hesitation.
