Admire an array of fossils at Dominican Amber Museum. Opened in 1982, the museum was established by the Costa family and American paleontologist Brandt Ghepart. Situated in a Victorian style colonial era mansion, it houses more than a thousand pieces of Dominican amber. Take a tour of the interior to see the extensive collection of the semi-precious material, some containing insect, plant, or lizard fossils.
