I have said it before, but I simply love this place, and come there several times a year. The guided tour "The First Danes" was perfect and we had a fun and knowledgeable guide. Again, and I will say.... more »

Truly a multi day attraction. Huge building with expansive worldwide collection of items from countries and cultures absolutely all over the world. I was impressed by the comprehensive array of things deeply Danish to truly diverse ranging really everywhere including Navajo Native American rugs, stools and head dress from ancient African tribes, and Japanese warrior outfits. I arrived in time for a free tour in English that covered early Scandinavian settlement. Definitely loads of information to take in!

Weird experience, but certainly not a bad one. The museum is really big, with lots of interesting stuff, but it also seem to be created in not much care. Most of the path that you can follow are in fact disconnected with each other, jumping from an Era to another randomly and sometimes without a connection. All things consider tho the museum has a lot to offer thinking also that it is one of the only one in the whole city about Danish History.
