Ernst's Samlinger reviews
Decent exhibit, but peculiar lockout for a whole department with the Silver works that you have just come to see. The museum therefore recommends a guided tour-which proves to give about a doubling of the entrance fee price. Other museums manage to secure their exhibitions at the same time as the audience can see it exhibited. So Ernst can only be recommended to an audience who would like to see an exclusively decorated home from the beginning of the last century and/or who will give a very high total entrance fee.
Fine, small museum. The first part, on the manufacture of silverware, is good and informative. But in the rest of the ' home ' there is no information. For example, what it is for some ceramics, or who has painted the different paintings, and what the motives are. The museum garden is attractive. There is just a place to buy something to drink.
