  • This place is really worth a visit and make sure to set aside the whole day! Lots to see and learn. We liked the exhibit with the "Myra"-people the best.  more »

  • Well done museum that covers many aspects of human history. Most famous for the peat bog man (Grauballe Man) but please do not make the mistake of jumping straight there and skipping the rest. The curators have done a fabulous job of covering many aspects of Denmark's History. Of course there is a significant amount of material about the Vikings. I recommend starting in the basement and working your way through the museum. We allotted about 4-hours, it was not enough.
  • Lovely day, lovely experience. Great place for the whole family, really interactive museum. The children that were around seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Highlight for me was definitely the bog man. Excellent, high quality exhibits. Would highly recommend for people to attend. It almost missed our itinerary for Aarhus.
