Known for its black coral, Cayo Levisa invites you to its white sands and crystal clear waters for some fun in the sun. An abundance of palm trees and beach chairs line the sands, providing plenty of space to kick back in the shade as you take in views of the Gulf of Mexico. With some luck, you can find exotic marine life such as starfish as you snorkel or dive in the island’s calm waters. Retreat to one of the beachside bungalows or grab a bite and drink at one of the many eateries located on the island.     This is a Government resort to which Cubans are not allowed to travel. We stayed one night. Our ‘cabin’ was very spacious. The bathroom was clean but the main room was dusty and the floor gritty...  more »

    Beautiful beach with loads of tiny crabs.

    Beach is beautiful, lovely water. But to get here you have to get a ferry which is 35 CUC pp (35$ each approx) you get a nice lunch and a water or soft drink. You can spend the day here but it is expensive better stay in an airbnb nearby 10 min walk from the port (we stayed in villa gustavo y mary and it was ace!)
