Nice little museum with lots of info and some cute parts, but wish there was more to it. San Ramon is such a historical part of costa rica, you would think they could fill it with more historical... more »

Not much to see here. Nice court yard just off the central park and cathedral area. No entry fee so worth 20 minutes of your time to check it out. more »

I love that you can read and learn new things of our country however needs more funding to bring more life to it and more history. Definitive go and visit!!!!

A charming regional museum (Spanish language only) that covers the region's political and economic history in one well-designed room, with another room exploring a (too tiny) bit of the area's spectacular biology and ecology, including mockups of some mega-fauna. A pleasant courtyard and rooms that were being used for educational programs round out the museum. Even with our horrendous grasp on Spanish, we learned a lot. Work the visit.
