  Charlie and Ivan were awesome during the surfing lesson! They were very clear in their instructions and made it easy for all 4 of us in the group to get up and surf! Definitely recommend the hands on....  more »

  Charlie was awesome! He picked us up at our hotel and brought us down to the beach. When we got there he gave us swim shirts to wear to prevent sunburn and gave a helpful explanation of the basics before we got in the water. In the water he was supportive and positive and we had a lot of fun surfing for a few hours. When we got out of the water he had pineapple waiting for a post-surf snack which was delicious. Plus his partner (whose name I forget, sorry!) took some great pictures of us with a GoPro which they gave us for free. Can not recommend Charlie highly enough if you're looking for a surf lesson.

  Surfing with Charlie was such a great experience, he is such a competent person, calm and with patience and goes slowly through all the steps so that, as a surfer rookie, you have time to follow. And additionally, the guy has so much humor! :) thank you Charlie!
