Diamante Eco Adventure Park reviews
My wife and I had such a Great time at the park. Everyone was so polite and helpful. The only thing we wish we did differently was get there earlier. We arrived at 11:30. more »
HIGHLY RECOMMEND the animal sanctuary visit. I got there on the first shuttle from registration to the sanctuary (9a), and i was there by myself. Although it’s a self guides tour, every single person.... more »
The Zip lines are what was expected and were nice. Views are amazing. Although relatively expensive, it is probably valued equivalent to other lines, and in general, the cables look quite new and safe (although I came in very HOT at the end of more than one zip line. Good thing the 'catch' mechanism worked, otherwise I would not be writing this right now. It doesn't appear that they have a back-up system in case of 'catch' failure, and which I would highly recommend diamante install). I may have expected more than I should. During the Superman line, they belt you in slightly downward, and with the downward line itself, you are looking further down and is difficult to see and enjoy the ocean and mountain views. Also, don't expect to ride equivalently with your friend as the lines run different speeds (which I believe is needed to account for the different weights of people). Finally, we were looking to purchase photos for my daughter (They did not have anyone taking photos of the Superman pose/line that day), but to do so, you need to pay more than what is listed on the website. You need to pay for all photos in your group, or pay a higher price than what is listed for individuals ($10/person on line vs $20/person if entire group does not buy photos). We skipped the 'animal sanctuary' as we heard it was only animals in small cages. We saw others in our group that went to the 'animal sanctuary' in the souvenir shop (airport prices in shop) only 20 minutes after we completed our runs. Diamante appears to have much space available, so this 'Animal sanctuary' could become an actual sanctuary if desired.
This experience was awesome! I would definitely recommend! The park was super close to our resort (Riu Palace) and was packed with fun. The Adventure Pass was a solid purchase; I really enjoyed the zip lines and the animal sanctuary. Plus the botanical garden/cultural experience was great. The staff was kind, easy-to-talk-to and overall happy! A full 10/10! 😃
