  This was such a fantastic experience for our family! Tio Leo taught us all about the plants on his property (and we tried some fruits/juices we had never tried before), explained the coffee roasting.....  more »

  Great place to buy reasonably priced locally sourced coffee. Also has gift shop iced coffee,smoothies and a restaurant. Tio Leo will even hand sign each bag of coffee you buy. Very cool little stop on the way to your hotel and well worth a visit. They also offer a coffee plantation tour for 25 dollars. Tour is about 2 hours long.

  Make sure and call ahead for the tour. It is not run every day of week. We just walked in at 9am on a Monday and they said the next tour would be on Thursday. We got a really cool mini tour from Sara (Zara?), though. She spoke to the local health care, history of region, regional differences across CR, coffee roasting, etc. Loved our brief time at Tio Leo's!
