Built over a thousand years ago, Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple (Northwest Gate) allegedly helped scare off the area's pesky dragons. The surrounding area is well maintained, with lots of greenery and a pond reflecting an image of the pagodas and providing an ideal photo op. There are quite a few steep steps to climb here, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of drinking water.   • Amazing place when you've been there in Oct. Weather is not too strong and not crowded at this time.
  • A large complex of pagodas and temples that we spent almost 3 hours in, though I think most people would do it in 2. we were super relaxed in walking to the very last temple then winding our way back down. plenty of beautiful picnic spots, and a vegetarian buffet if you prefer. stunning views from the top of the last temple so I'd make the effort to get there.
