Cayman Turtle Centre: Island Wildlife Encounter, West Bay

Always love this place when we have the opportunity to come to this port on a cruise. Lots of opportunities to interact with turtles whether you like to swim, snorkel, or just touch them in a tank. Also be sure to tour the aviary and pay the dollar donation to feed the birds. They will land on you and eat from your hand. It is awesome! Check out the restaurant and gift shop on the way out. It has an awesome selection of everything you could want as a souvenir!

Did the stingray turtle swim excursion. When you do that excursion you get the longer time at both sites. The last time I did the turtle center we were only in and out of there in less than 30 minutes which was not long enough. this time we were there over 2 hours and we're able to enjoy swim with the turtles in the lagoon and also they offer non-salt water pool area that also has a slide and waterfall. The tour was very informative and got to see a lot of turtles and including the last Cayman known to be living. Cayman islands is what they're named after because there used to be so many Caymans all over the beach on the island.if you get a chance to spend longer time there it's a very enjoyable day they also have food and drink there to purchase. I'm looking forward to my return visit there.
