Wijnendale Castle (French: Château de Wynendaele, Dutch: Kasteel van Wijnendale) is a historic residence in Wijnendale, West Flanders in Belgium which was once a medieval castle. The present buildings largely date to a nineteenth century restoration, though parts of the north wing still date to the fifteenth century. One wing is currently inhabited by the present owners of the castle, while another is open to the public as a museum.

  • It's a small castle but very beautiful. beautiful landscape any time of the year. It's free to make pictures from outside. It's very close ro Brugge.  more »
  • A very nice castle, but quite a deceiving visit. It is not worthy to go there unless you are a Flemish speaker. Guided visits are only in Flemish, indeed the guide only speaks Flemish. You can visit.....  more »
  • I went there.. over the past 7 years, like every month 'cause I live so close to it. For me, it's blander than school.. But, but If you like forests, you'd love it. I went there yesterday for like the quintillionth time (I could go blindfolded from my house through the forest and back), but it was a decent walk. Also, the castle looks nice or something. (P.s, the kid in the pic is me in 2nd grade)
