  Mechelen was the deportion centre for Belgium. A branch rail line was built for the deportees to be taken to concentration camps. The actual building used is opposite the Kazerne Dossin which is a.....  more »

  This is a very impressive place of remembrance. History of the deportation of the Jewish people in Belgium and the north of France. If you are in any way interested in this I highly recommend a visit.

  Exhibition about the 3rd Reich, Jew discrimination ending in deportations (incl. Belgium) and the Holocaust. Some writings look as if they had been published now, if you replace 'Jew' by 'Muslim'. We said 'never again' but we should remain cautious. Nothing is ever to be taken for granted.
