  We had a lovely experience with Katia today in Ghent. We were a small group of four so it was like a private tour. Katia covered almost all important landmarks and has a good comic timing. At the end....  more »

  At the tourist office I found a flyer of Free Tours of Orange Umbrella, starting at 10.30am at the St.Bavo Cathedral. Waiting in the rain and stormy weather, no orange umbrella to be seen. A spanish.....  more »

  Wonderful tour conducted by a knowledgeable, informative, and very personable guide. This was a great way to learn about some of the history of Ghent and see some of the city's beautiful attractions. Keep in mind you will be walking during the two hours, but it is a slow pace with plenty of stops for explanation. The tour is totally free but gratuities are appreciated for a job very well done.

  I joined the Free Walking Tour today and totally recommend it! Our guide has been a local with a vast knowledge not only of the city of Ghent, but also of Belgian history as well as cosmopolitan knowledge! The tour lasted 1h45mins and was very entertaining. Our guide brought across the spirit of Ghent vividly and infected me with a thirst for more knowledge about this beautiful city and the country Belgium as a whole!
