Dharma City was founded in 2007 under the auspices of Dzogchen Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche. Every year, Dharma City hosts a number of events such as Tibetan language courses, cultural events, meditation sessions and retreats open to all.

In the summer time, motivated students attend intensive Buddhist philosophy courses organised by Zangdok Palri Institute. Those courses are modelled after the Tibetan monastic college called "Shedra." Dharma City also hosts short meditation courses and retreats, as well as longer traditional Tibetan Buddhist ritual practices called "Drupchen." Visitors can enjoy the Tea House (8h-18h)(https://www.facebook.com/TibetanConventionTeaHouse/) and visit the Dharma Shop.

    I enjoyed staying at Dharma City. The rooms were simple but clean and very comfortable. The vegetarian food was good. This is not traditional hotel accomodation but the rooms had everything I wanted.....  more »
