    Somewhat starker and sombre than most of The Allied cemeteries in the area but this does give it a distinctive feel and presence. It is made up mainly of mass graves bearing the names of those buried there. In recent years much has been done to improve its overall appearance and a car park has been provided to cope with increasing numbers of visitors.

    A somber cemetery where around 45000 German soldiers are laid to rest. It is well maintained with lots of variety to see. A stark contrast to the British cemeteries all around which we have visited.
