Explore the only accesible sea cave on Barbados, Animal Flower Cave, named after the sea anemones that inhabit its pools. Discovered in 1780 by English explorers who were sailing in the area, the cave features a coral floor that's more than 400,000 years old. Descend the coral steps, built in 1912, that lead down through the cave's roof. From there you may admire the cave's rock formations that differ in color due to oxidation. View the vibrant sea anemone, swim in the deep pool in the chamber, or take in ocean views from the mouth of the cave. Spectacular views. We had a scrumptious lunch. After lunch, I went into the caves. It was fantastic to be in the water though you have to pay attention when the waves came in. I almost lost a flip..... more »

Unbelievably beautiful spot. The food was superb, if calsberg did lunches they would be here. And a very reasonable price. The cave itself was was amazing . Like something magical from a fantasy... more »

You guys need to do something about this attraction!!!! Only one “animal flower” barely moved. I’m not sure how this can be fixed. But I do think it should. Outside of that? The grounds here are breathtaking. The views too. Great sea air and good view of how the ocean slams into the head of the island. The food is tasty and the little shops have some charming shop keepers. Delightful people and energy. Very bright and friendly. The cave itself is also gorgeous. Slippery and a steep descent into the actual cave. But lovely to see. I don’t think it is worth the money. But I appreciate knowing that the fee goes into maintenance of the property.

Absolutely incredible place. I would say magical. And the food was excellent with the best view for lunch on the island in my opinion. The cave itself i could of stayed in fir hours. The only downside was our guide supported Liverpool 😁
