After acquiring it in 1628, Ferdinand II subsequently allowed the construction of a hermitage for an order of Catholic hermits.     love this walk. either from the end of the D tram, or up Grinzinger steig from near the end of the 38 tram, lovely view, 2 cafes to enjoy a little something and multiple routes down again.  more »

    Kahlenberg was the best part of my trip. I definitely recommend going there during evening and enjoy the sunset view with coffee. not too far from city and very well connected with public transport.

    One of the places which u have to visit while ur in Vienna to see the view of the city from up there are 2 coffees u can chose one of them and set to drink and enjoy the seen I really recommended for ppl who are coming to the city
