We happened across the Shot Tower on the drive south from Hobart and decided to take a look. For a small fee you can climb the 250-odd steps to the top of the tower and read about its interesting... more »
Been here many times over the years. The new owners are very friendly & genuine people. A very interesting climb to the top & great fun for the kids. Topped off with excellent, fresh traditional scones outside in the lovely gardens all makes for a great family outing.
Nice and historic place to visit. Nice views from the top of the tower. Lots of ancient story of guns and bullets.
