Fantasea Cruising delivers Australia’s most personalised experiences on the water. With the flexibility to cater for 2 to 1200 people, we offer charters in a range of vessel sizes from 16 seater water taxis to large vessels across a range of locations. Our fleet on Sydney Harbour operates evening cruises, special event cruises like Vivid & New Year’s Eve and daily whale watching cruises. Our whale watching cruises are unique to Sydney with a marine biologist on every departure and a hydrophone to hear the whale song underwater. Our fleet of water taxis not only offer point to point services to move people around Sydney with not a traffic light in sight, the sunset cruises and our exclusive picnic on Sydney Harbour are experiences not to be missed. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Sydney holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Fantasea Cruising and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
On Pittwater, north of Sydney, we operate ferry services between Ettalong, Wagstaffe and Palm Beach. We also operate whale watching from Palm Beach during season. In Townsville, we operate a car barge and ferry experience to the beautiful Magnetic Island. Whatever your itinerary may be, our experiences can be tailored to your requirements. We will depart when you want, where you want and for however long you like. With Fantasea Cruising you build the cruise experience around your itinerary not the itinerary around the Cruise. Established in 1928 with over 30 years of experience in tourism, we aspire to uphold the values of our family business.

This seems to be the same company as Whale Watching Sydney. We were lucky with weather and had a great trip, saw a bunch of tail slappings especially. Most of our group took anti-seasickness tablets..... more »

Great fun! We saw lots of whale action. Crew & vessel were awesome!
My wife, son and I hoped on at the aquarium and were specifically told the next stop was circular quay. My son is unwell and we urgently needed to get back to our hotel at circular quay. So we paid the $20 each asking price for the ticket which is much higher than normal sydney ferries, only to find we are heading to the zoo. We were specifically told misleading information by the staff member Pravin/Pranish in order to secure our patronage. This is totally unacceptable, and I will be referring this to the harbour master and transport NSW for further consideration.
