Kondalilla Falls, Montville

#1 of 13 in Things to do in Montville
Must see · Waterfall · Nature / Park
In terms of natural beauty, these waterfalls are unbeatable. Kondalilla Falls stands in the middle remnant subtropical rainforest, full of hoop pines, piccabeen palms, and eucalypt trees. William Skene discovered it by accident while searching for lost cattle. The falls got their name from the Aboriginal word for running water. Take a refreshing swim in two natural pools and dry off on the warm rocks. You can also hike in the rainforest hike but camping is not permitted.
