It isn't bad but it isn't great either. You could get everything done really quickly, so I wouldnt plan a whole day trip. I think Melbourne zoo and Werribee open range zoo are better options. more »

I would say if you have young kids, this is a good place. Lots of interactive and close proximity to the sea creatures. The cafe there is pretty slow so you may want to give it a miss unless you have.... more »

We had a great time. I enjoyed seeing the jellyfish displays and the laboratory and growing areas. Absolutely fascinating creatures. The fish were inquisitive and interested in seeing us in the other displays. They offer a diving experience with the fish and I'd like to do that one day. Other things to mention the restaurant has a pretty limited selection and luckily the food is better than the pictures displayed which look unappetizing to say the least. The food was good quality though and filled us up. Keep up the good work and make sure the displays are regularly updated for local visitors.

Nicely done aquarium ... more technology and games than necessary in my opinion but the kids seem to enjoy it! My one comment is to double down on that sustainability mission and stop selling single use plastic bottles in your cafe ... walk the walk! Even if you don't run your cafe, you can certainly tell your cafe vendor to find product that doesn't harm the environment. Thanks for caring about the earth and sharing it's wonders with young learners!
