It’s a place to explore your love of music, revisit some of the big music moments of your life, share those memories and discover the exciting new stories of today’s Australian music scene.
Opening in late 2017 at Arts Centre Melbourne, the Australian Music Vault will feature an exhibition showcasing Australian music, innovative digital participatory experiences, iconic objects from our Performing Arts Collection, and an online presence that is a fully integrated extension of the visitor experience.
There’ll also be an ongoing calendar of performances, programs and events presented at Arts Centre Melbourne and via outreach to communities across Victoria.
The inaugural Australian Music Vault Patrons are legendary promoter Michael Gudinski, music guru, Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, Archie Roach and Melbourne’s favourite diva, Kylie Minogue.
We’re opening the Australian Music Vault and everyone’s welcome. Stay tuned for more. A number of exciting career opportunities will be available as we bring together the creative team to realise our vision for the Australian Music Vault. Positions will be advertised on our Employment page in the coming days and weeks. Keep an eye out for what’s on offer.
