AAMI Park morphs to accommodate everything from rock stars to sports gods. The rectangular pitch-shaped stadium is designed to hold the city’s soccer and rugby games. Explore the outdoor sports stadium when its tenants such as Melbourne Rebels and Victoria Maidens play there. The stadium has covered seats with lots of aisles, making the seats easy to reach. You will have unobstructed views of the game since the complex is free from pillars or walls. Look up to admire the domed roof that substantially covers the seating area and gives the stadium its strong identity. Using our world travel planner, Melbourne attractions like AAMI Park can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

We attended AAMI Park to see Queen play. We were seated in section 37, which was the section at the end of the playing field, virtually opposite the stage. Although we were a long way from the stage..... more »

I came to watch a good Melbourne victory match and was not disappointed. It was a great match in a great stadium, unlike some other stadiums it felt like we were close to the players. But.... half the staff seemed like they couldn't speak English or didn't want to be there. No enthusiasm at all, and were very passive aggressive. There was also a lady reading the same piece of paper over and over again with warnings, Unneeded labour when you could of played the same recording over and over again. Another thing was we were told we weren't allowed to bring our 1.5L plastic bottle of water and had to pay to convert it to bottles of 250 ml. I don't want all this to make the stadium look bad. While the match was on there was a great atmosphere and entertainment before the match and during half time. Every thing was great but the organization. I cam for a good time and was not disappointed. Great stadium:)

Great venue. Everyone can see. Phil Collins was just on here. Only downside was the heat. Still 38 at 10:00 pm. So very unpleasant. Tip, ask for water at the bars. They have to offer water. No need to buy it.
