  • Do NOT Attempt to Visit This place has been CLOSED for nearly TWO YEARS. It was never commercially viable. The premises are now derelict in appearance.  more »
  • Best Zoo I have ever visited - in fact I would call this a sanctuary over a zoo. The work the Irwin family do is great and they was handing out free cake for Roberts birthday when we went!  more »
  • I love this place. I have been going since I was one and everytime I learn something new. Despite the bad reviews about the owner (Stuart), he is actually a lovely man who cares for and respects the animals. Stuart has taught me just about everything I know about reptiles and is keenly passionate. When I was 6 he took me on a catch and release mission. A snake was caught in a wire fence and had to be removed. I know first hand that he treats his animals well, having fed and held many of the animals. He is cautious with the venomous species when handling them around visitors, but the non-venomous species he lets people pet and hold. All in all this zoo is an amazing experience and there are always people who think poorly of things. Go, and judge for yourself.
  • Definitely was not worth the money. I saw a total of 5 snakes and two spiders and they all looked to have been not looked after properly. It looked like a run down shed that had a few random bits and pieces thrown in to make it look as though there was maximum effort put in. The reptiles were in the smallest enclosures, they were definitely not fit to be in there. The owner had a bigger ego with tonnes of murals about himself and was obviously not concerned about making the ‘zoo’ look inviting to customers. You could barely see the spiders or scorpions in their tiny enclosures due to there being no light in a dark room.
