Basalt Wines is a boutique vineyard and cellar door located on the Great Ocean Rd near Port Fairy, Victoria.

Drop in for cellar door sales and tastings of our biodynamically grown Riesling, Pinot Noir and Tempranillo.

We serve European-inspired bar snacks and local cheeses, plus wines by the glass, craft spirits and beers every Tue-Sun in our rustic Winery Shed (head out the back!).

Ideal for groups, private parties and events.

We're kid friendly too - plenty of space to explore, play cricket, kick the footy or play bocce.

    This place was recommended to us by a local restauranter , and it was very enjoyable. Small and informal bistro feel, in among the vines. Nice wines, good service and some very delicious fish. Simple....  more »

    $10 for tasting is a ripoff, particularly as most places then offset that if you buy something - these guys don’t. I understand some places wanting to charge large groups or people not purchasing wine - but very few cellar doors charge regardless of if you purchase or not.The wines are ok - not amazing. The restaurant & food looked ok.
