Tuns of info & relics on early mining, allow yourself plenty of time because around every corner is more to see on display. Also several walks from easy to long out the back walking thru the original Herberton mining site with plenty of old equipment to see on the way!! Really worth the visit & only a gold coin donation. Staff were super knowledgeable & friendly, highly recommend a visit

A very detailed history, of the mining industry in the district. There is plenty to see, as well as a massive collection of rocks & minerals. We really enjoyed it, gold coin donation. 👍
