Don’t miss the park’s mini golf adventure, where you can putt your way around pirate ships, life-size pirate figures, and a gold mine under a waterfall. Maru Koala and Animal Park reviews
This is a lovely place to visit with young children who love and have an interest in Australian native animals. Koalas are most in evidence with many to see and obviously enjoying their home here... more »

A great place to visit (albeit small) if you’re in the area. Take the time to play mini-golf - the course is fun and surprisingly big! Kangaroos are really friendly and you can buy food at the kiosk to hand feed them. Regular talks on the variety of animals there, average quality information and audience engagement. Cafe serves food and drinks (incl coffee and alcohol) and there is a gift shop on site also. Plenty of free parking, and disabled access.
Been here twice and love it. You get to walk around and see the animals, including feeding the kangaroos by hand, and feeding the emu if you're brave enough. Depending on the time of day, you might be there for a keeper talk on one of the other animals, and last time I got to pet a dingo, which was lovely. It's definitely worth it to get a photo with a koala if you've never done it. The gift-shop is less overpriced than most, so that's a bonus.
