Little Beach, Gosford

The camping site itself was beautiful. Lots of people mentioning the grass which is lovely and soft. The walk from the car park is pretty tricky. It's only 700 meters but it's pretty steep downhill. We didn't pack super lightly so doing multiple trips was pretty brutal. Definitely pack lightly! Also, the beach itself is very rocky so we didn't swim as we were worried about stubbing toes/hitting heads etc. Lots of other people swam though. We were just being wusses I guess! The site is very pretty. Unfortunately no fires which is also a bummer.

A piece of paradise! However - we We’re unlucky and have heard similar stories from others who had camped there. We had noisy campers, camping illegally AND had a group of 10 arrive at 12am and party in the beach, using the bbq facilities until 3am, refusing to keep the noise down despite campers asking them to. Lesson learnt - phone the Gosford Police station directly to report any issues with the campsite (if it’s out of hours). The ranger told us the next day it is in their jurisdiction to move people. So don’t hold back! Little Beach is remote and therefore not patrolled, and therefore people take a chance. Such a pity!!!! Pack light. The 750m from the carpark to the site is a steep up and down at times but the road is good. Otherwise this is a beautiful bay. Stunning!
